Nestled within the scenic hills of Somerset, The Nook offers a unique and intimate dining experience. Located just an hour and a half by train from London and under an hour from Bath and Bristol, this charming canvas-clad retreat overlooks the vineyard, with sweeping views of the Somerset Levels. Its rustic yet refined atmosphere creates the perfect setting for relaxation and enjoyment.

Guests can unwind with a leisurely wine tasting of Wraxall wines, pairs with the finest local produced cooked by chefs.

The Nook is ideal for an unforgettable gathering with friends, family, or colleagues, all while savouring exceptional food, drink, and company. Plus, we’re just 10 minutes from the Castle Carey train station, making travel to and from The Nook a breeze.

The Nook offers a unique and intimate setting for up to 20 guests without requiring exclusive use of The View. Located at the heart of the vineyard, The Nook is a Bedouin tent perched on the roof, providing a private space perfect to share, celebrate and enjoy.

As the sun sets over the rolling hills of Somerset, enjoy an evening of open fire cooking, where seasonal dishes are served in a rustic, yet refined style. Paired with the finest local wines, this unique dining experience allows you to savour the region's best flavours in a relaxed and intimate setting.

The Nook Booking Policy

We require a credit or debit card to secure bookings. All credit card information will be processed securely.

We ask for £100 deposit to secure the date when you book.
We will be in touch 2 weeks before your visit to confirm any extras, final numbers, dietary requirements and take your balance payment so please ensure your email and phone number are up-to-date.
Please note: We have a 2-week cancellation policy. Any booking cancelled less than 2 weeks before the reservation is subject to a £100 fee.
No shows and late cancellations will be charged the agreed card authorisation fee.
Your table will be booked for 3 hours from 2pm to 5pm.
We do not permit any fancy dress, props or balloons, but we do allow table decorations.
Guests are not permitted to provide their own food (such as cakes) or wine without prior arrangement with an agreed charge.
