Tours & Tastings

Guided Wine Tastings take place throughout the year at The View@Wraxall on Wedesday to Saturday starting at 11.45 am and 1.00 pm.

Vineyard Tours are held between April and October on Wednesday to Saturday starting at 11am and 2.30 pm.

We can offer tours and tastings in French, Spanish, Italian and German with prior arrangement. Please email  info@wraxallvineyard.co.uk to inquire about availability. 

A Vineyard Tour takes approximately 45 minutes. A Guided Wine Tasting takes approximately 45 minutes.

If you would like to Book for Lunch or a Drink before or after your Tour and/or Tasting, you will need to book a table in The View@Wraxall seperately. Click on BOOK above.

Our Wine are available to BUY from our SHOP at The View@Wraxall and ONLINE.

In The View@Wraxall we also serve non-alcoholic wines, lager, beer, cider and soft drinks.

Payments

We accept all credit cards and Apple Pay.

Bring Your Dog

Dogs are always welcome at Wraxall Vineyard but it is important that your dog is kept on a lead at all times, for its own safety and the safety of others.

Please do clean up after your dog. We always have extra dog poo bags, so please ask.

There are water bowls for dogs at The View@Wraxall.

The View @ Wraxall has 4 disabled parking spaces, step free access and accessible toilet facilities.

The Vineyard is on a steep hill with a gravel drive.

We always advise wearing trainers or walking shoes if you are coming for a Tour of the Vineyard. On wetter days you may want to bring your wellies or waterproof shoes.

If you or one of your party have restricted walking ability, please contact us in advance and we’ll make arrangements for you to be as comfortable as possible.

Parking

Cars & Bikes

There is parking available for upto 40 cars at the Vineyard and a designated area for bikes.

There are 4 disabled parking spaces close to the entrance of The View@Wraxall, providing step-free access.

We do not have a specific area for coach parking so please contact us in advance if you wish to visit us by coach.

Location and Directions

We are located in the hamlet of Wraxall, just off the A37 south of Shepton Mallet. Find us on Google Maps.

Our nearest train station is Castle Cary Station which is a 10 minute drive south of the Vineyard or Bruton which is a 15 minute drive away. If you are arriving by train then do pre-book a taxi to meet you.

Taxis

If you are staying locally, can we suggest that you pre book a mini-bus or taxis well in advance of your visit, as they can be challenging to book last minute, especially for a large group.

Typically, its best to book a taxi firm near to where you are staying for both journeys.
